Johnny Echols on Facebook:
Live on-stage, with horns and strings for the first time since 2005. LOVE (revisited) will perform Love's seminal 1967 album "Forever Changes," on October 24th, at the El Cid, in Los Angeles CA. Love - Forever Changes remains at the top of most music critics must-have lists, and is considered [the] top album of all-time by the orginazation of European rock critics... beating out albums by the Beatles and Jimi Hendrix. It is also near the top of Rolling Stones 500 best albums of all time. It was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 2008. Love also has a permanent exhibit, at the Smithsonian Institute, as well as the Library of Congress, in Washington DC. Forever Changes, will be performed with the same personnel as when Arthur Lee first performed it live, ten years ago at the House of Blues on Sunset Blvd. LOVE (revisited) is Johnny Echols, co-founder and lead guitarist of the group Love, along with original drummer Michael Stuart-Ware and members of the group Baby Lemonade who toured with Arthur Lee from the nineteen nineties until his passing in August of 2006. Joining them will be Paula Yoo, Heather Lockie and Ana Lenchantin on strings, Dan Clucas on horn and flute with other special guests.
