Here's some great news for those who thought that a good soul and ska single couldn't be recorded in these days.
And its come from England.
Well some of you may remember Clem Curtis as the guy that sang lead on Baby Now That I've Found You by The Foundations in 67.
He wasn't the guy that sang Build Me Up Buttercup though.
That was Colin !

Anyway you should check out this new 45 that he has out .... its Lord Large Featuring Clem Curtis and the songs are ,
[A} Stuck In A Wind Up and [B] Move Over Daddy.
Side one is Soul and two is a SKA styed track.
And they're pretty close to the sixties sound.
This guy is amazing and he's been recording since 1967.



I wonder if Arthur Lee has a copy of this single yet.

Its on the Acid Jazz label .
