Left Banke are considering a possible London gig and you can register interest at the blog linked.

It includes two videos of recent performances, the first one, Desiree with the NYU all University Choir "Drama Cantorum", is particularly fine.

Joe- I checked their Wikipedia entry after reading that blog, includes:

"In February 2012 Tom Finn notified the YouTube community that the Left Banke were in the process of creating a new record featuring contributions from co-founder Michael Brown.

On April 29th 2012 Brown joined the reunited Left Banke on stage at B.B. King's in New York for a version of his "Pretty Ballerina." His performance was greeted with a standing ovation."

I've now found the footage on YouTube:

we'll see. Mike has always been a hard one to get for any LB project. He didn't play anything on Strangers on a Train
the 70s LB album

he did play on his wifes album (Yvonne Vitale) but shes not really the best singer even on tracks like "She may call you up tonight"!

Glad they're doing the Steve Martin tracks (Two by two, Love songs in the night) live of course!
