One simply can't ignore Arthur Lee, he's just brilliant with or without Love. Enough said. There are 2 rare and cool shows, in one archive for your convenience.-Grateful Breed

hey lk - have you come across any live Left Banke trax online? aside from the "Glad all over" track they did live that I passed along to you with the solo Steve Martin trax?

particularly interested in the recent live (in NYC!) show at Joes Pub - they did "Love songs in the night" "Two by two (I'm losing you)" as an encore I believe, though they closed with "Walk away renee" :

I'll have to check...that Amsterdam show that is posted here had Left Bake on the sound system for the pre-Love music! The great music from the golden age all invokes the 60's and LOVE!

Its weird - the writer for the band lives a 15 minute drive from me

Don't think Michael writes any more - last anyone heard of him was his playing on his wifes album (on He may call you up tonight, etc)

Thanks, never heard the VARA session before. 'Thats the way it goes' and LA Caloca are both new to me or have I missed them on an official release? Also v interesting 'Hey Joe' a la Tim Rose cum Hendrix version tho it seems incomplete

We can spend all day arguing that Love’s Forever Changes is the greatest album of all time. But let’s not argue, it is.
