Arthur gets interviewed about his songwriting in the Song man : a melodic adventure, or, my single-minded approach to songwriting book by Will Hodgkinson
Its interesting - Arthurs met at a Holiday Inn while on tour in the UK to do Forever Changes. Arthur discusses "The Castle" but is closed up to the man
I found it more entertaining the encounter with Ray Davies telling the hapless Will that noone can teach songwriting, this while hes giving a course on it!
Whats interesting is that Love is talked about to some extent - how great Forever Changes is, how Baby Lemonade toured without Arthur, how Lee died of leukemia
so its worth reading for those bits! I'll undoubtedly post a video review to Amazon at some point |
