Have you guys heard? Robert's been in a car accident and is in a serious condition.
The following is a message on Diane Lee's facebook page.

Dear Friends, Prayers are needed for Robert Rozelle who is in the hospital in serious condition following a very bad auto accident. The only details at this time is what I have said also that his family is with him giving him all of their love.

I can only endorse what LK has said. I think that one of this site's great blessings is that it brings us news of former band members when they are in difficulty or distress.......and it enables true Love fans to share their sympathy and prayers. Robert...."this too will pass". |

not kidding. I remember Rozelle playing guitar on Moral Court (ABC tv)
It was a dispute he had with a musician he played with - I remember him giving records he played on to the judge, and one of them looked like Love's Real to Reel
This is the late 90s?
I think it was Mel Whittington who was in jail for manslaughter charges, I'm not sure about that one

Worked with Bob on the 74 UK tour.Really nice guy, if anybody can get good wishes to him please do so. I know he kept in touch with Arthur through the problems.Mel was on the 74 tour as well, had not heard about any problems. Only one I have not heard about on that tour is Joe Blocker. I think I know what John Stirling is doing, radio show etc.

| I would also like to send my best vibes to Robert. Besides being a world class musician, he is a husband and father, and all around decent guy. Many of us got to know him a few years back, when he would regularly post on this board. Stay strong Robert, there are a whole lot of folks out there pulling for you! |

| As many of you may have Heard, Robert Rozelle passed away, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. My thoughts are with his family at this very sad time. More information will be forthcoming on the Arthur Lee website. R.I.P my friend. |

And yes, there was a member of Love that had to deal with manslaughter at some point, but it was not Melvan to my knowledge. Either way, thats negativity and really doesn't belong here, but I do know Mel and it wasn't him. |
