Having never used a record deck for 10-15 yrs I'm thinking of selling the lot [660 albums and maybe 50 singles]including my Love but wondering if I'd regret it..........

We can spend all day arguing that Love’s Forever Changes is the greatest album of all time, but let’s not argue. It is the greatest record of all time!

If you don't listen or need $$, but damn, won't you miss holding
forever Changes in your hands? Or watching the vinyl spin round?

I'd get a turn table mate!! Can you really get the feeling of opening Sgt Peppers
and seeing those wonderful images looming large and beautiful with a CD? Never!!

Vinyl RULES!!

I know your dilemma. Much of mine has been replaced by Cds for convenience, but many precious vinyls lie gathering dust. Yes, I should probably lose it all (but what would I do with the special order bookcase I had made for it?), but it's part of my life - it grew up with me.

After being 'round here and thanks to lk, I'm real happy I kept all my records. Yes, you will regret it! Don't!.......spoken from the top of my turntable.....

I would say that's a never. I don't play my vinyls much anymore.
Life has changed, we are on the go constantly, but we can listen to music thru ipods, players, CDs etc.

But I still look thru the vinyl covers which usually is very warming
to me.

Well put....the vinyl jackets are windows to our music.....
clear and unobstructed. Like the Hollies put it..."look through any window. yeah...what do you see?" We need the larger view that only vinyl can offer. A jewel case just won't cut it!
