Joni Mitchell - Urge For Going (Live In-Studio 1966)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vLu2-gG68S0

SO good...bless you , Joni.

Seeing Tom Rush tonight, who was instrumental in furthering Joni and many other artists careers by covering their songs & recording them before Joni or the likes of Jackson Browne ever put their songs to wax.

I was watching "Later" with Jools Holland on BBC a few nights ago and saw Sheffield's Richard Hawley (of whom I'd never previously heard) performing his latest song, Heart of Oak, which I thought was really good. The official video is at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zr2JTS0XQ5Y - which should please Derbyshire's tourist board, having been filmed in that county's Peak District. There's even a glimpse of a border collie (I'm very fond of border collies - we've got one.).

Alternatively, if you're able to view BBC programmes where you live, you can see his performance on the Jools Holland show at http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b06h311d/later-with-jools-holland-series-47-live-episode-4 - Hawley is the first artist on, though if you watch the intro you'll see Jools and his model railway!
