Just a few words by way of introduction. I have been a longterm visitor to this site but could never find the time and patience to get myself registered to the Message Board etc. My first collision with Arthur Lee and Love came about in 1980 when I was still in secondary school (St Aidan's, Wishaw, Scotland) and a fellow Doors fan introduced me to Forever Changes. I was so taken by FC that it took me over a month to play Side 2! The rest is history and it's good to be here at last.

When I was at school we used to play St.Aidans at football , but that's a long time ago now.

Guy who owns my local boozer is from Strathaven which , as you'll know, isn't a million miles away - Derek Thomson is his name. Sore one for the Bhoys tonight.

Derek Thompson ,big lad ,very keen on the golf.
Think I know him.
Incidentally I played for Larkhall Academy when we played against St.Aidans. I was also the only person at the school to wear a Celtic football top during practises, wasn't a popular guy.
I actually support Hamilton Accies as I hate all the sectarianism in Scottish football.
The bet of the Champions League was Celtic not win one game , I wish I'd taken it now.

Aye - that will be Derek alright, I'll let him know I was in touch with you. He is an Accies AND Celtic fan.
The Bhoys will win a game I feel, just not happening this time around.

now then, the golf, there's a nice clean hobby, one which i encouraged my daughter to follow.
heard that nice alice Kooper plays, so perhaps we need to get the Love band on board...
