A Love story
Minneapolis singer Janey Neal got an unexpected Christmas present this week. Her biological mother finally told her who her birth father was: the late rock star Arthur Lee, of Love, the San Francisco psychedelic rock group that made a name for itself in the late 1960s and early '70s. "I've been up all night trying to find out who he is," Neal said Wednesday. "It's nice to know who my father is and my talent is not a fluke." For years, her birth mother told Neal that she didn't know who her father was. Lee worked with Jimi Hendrix before founding Love in 1965 and recording the 1967 classic "Forever Changes," which shows up on many critics' lists of the greatest rock albums ever. Lee died in 2006 of leukemia. Neal, 31, who performs under the name "Janey," was born in Honolulu, given up for adoption and raised in Minneapolis. When she was 19, she met her birth mother. "I don't look like my mother," she told I.W. "My father and I look identical."

I've know lots of guys who've told hot chicks they're pretty sure they're sterile, especially at 3AM after a pint of whiskey.....

Hmmmm... another "We'll just never know the truth" Love story.
It'd be great to stick to the music and the band members themselves, I mean doesn't it always seem strange that these things come to light when the person in question is no longer around to verify their possibility?
