Today I saw a friend of a friend had posted a comment elsewhere 'I'd like to say sorry for whatever it was that I did wrong in a past life'. for me it's the opposite, more like 'thanks for letting me do whatever I did well in a past life'
And I agree with Lizzy - we must have been really good in a past life - maybe Gandhi or Joan of Arc or something - because I can't imagine it getting any better than this.
Loads of love to Lizzy, Chris and son Jim who shared the experience. And to Mike for inviting us. And to the rest of the guys for making it so great.

This is my first ever effort on YouTube - you can even hear me and Lizzy yeah yeah yeahing towards the end. Hope you like it. Various people on stage inc Jarvis, Russell Mael, Badly Drawn Boy, Robin Hitchcock, Peter Murphy and the Residents. No Marianne Faithfull unfortunately at that stage, she was tremendous - I did promise Mike I'd write a diary and I will soon!
What a show. sorry to keep rubbing it in. It would've been nice in London but - train fare would have cost 3 x what the flights were. In £ rather than environmental costs (she muttered shuffling her feet).
