(Apologies if there have been a similar topics before.) I have recently heard a couple of songs by Bryan MacLean's half sister Maria Mckee and really enjoyed them. I would quite like to buy a record but I have no idea which one to start with. There doesn't seem to be much critical advice on the net so I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions here?
Martin, I saw Maria McKee live at the Rescue Rooms in Nottingham earlier in the week, she has a great voice. I don't actually own any of her early stuff but I have bought her latest album "Late December" which I really like.
Thanks Tina, I sometimes do like to buy the most recent record and work back so i will try and have a listen. Her musical genre isn't in my usual taste, but like you I have found her to have a great voice, and I find the songs I have heard really refreshing - Bryan must have had a good influence over her.
