Some of you are probably familiar with www.dimeadozen.org, a website that has some amazing torrent/downloads of unreleased material.

I was listening to the latest gem I found there - listed as Eric Burdon and Robbie Krieger from Detroit 1990 - and noticed a second incredible guitar cutting through. Turns out it is none other than John Sterling, of Love circa early 1970's.

For those out there who dig the heavier versions of Love like I do, if you have a chance to snag this torrent I highly recommend it!

When I first met Arthur he had John Sterling and Melvin Whittington in his band. On a good night when both those guys were on their game it was a joy to behold. Unfortunately consistency was not the hallmark of that band! In fact you were lucky if both of them even showed up for the same gig.
