| Johnny Echols was leaving a jam last night with Albert Lee, when, while on foot, he was hit by an SUV and knocked over a cliff. Due mostly to the 15 foot drop, he suffered several broken ribs, a broken clavicle and a punctured lung. The car was also teetering over the cliff directly above him but he was moved out from under or he might not have survived! He is now hospitalized in the San Fernando Valley where they are trying to stabilize his lung, which is considered the most serious of his medical issues. I talked to him this morning, and although he is in much pain, he's hopeful that if they can deal with his lung in short time he may be able to return home later this week. In the meantime keep him in your prayers! |

ah, GOD that's awful....I'm glad he's back home recovering, though. Prayers of healing energy for Johnny!
