I recently saw the Riders on the Storm version of the Doors and I was totally blown away.I haven't enjoyed a show like that in years and I go to alot of shows. I didnt really didn't expect much but look how wrong you can be! Ray Manzarek and Robbie Krieger were fantastic and played with joy in their hearts and faces. The singer whose name I can't recall was excellent and didnt try to "portray" Morrison but had a natural feel and attitude that went over well. The venue was the Fillmore in San Francisco where the original Doors started out after conquering Los Angeles. Everyone was smoking pot, the sound was perfect and I had a blast!!
