Maybe this is old news to some of you, but I only just this week discovered "Supershow" - the 1969 British concert film featuring

Colosseum
The Modern Jazz Quartet
Led Zepellin
Buddy Miles
Buddy Guy
Jack Bruce
Steven Stills
Glen Campbell
Eric Clapton
Rahsaan Roland Kirk

I listed Kirk last because, in my opinion, he dominates the proceedings. The most amazing thing about this show is that the musicians truly jam with each other! I had no idea that footage existed of Eric Clapton jamming with Roland Kirk. Or of Steven Stills backed by Jack Bruce and Buddy Miles. Or of Buddy Guy backed by Roland Kirk and Jack Bruce!

I just put this show on my video Ipod and I'm looking forward to watching it many times!
