I went to NAMM Friday and Saturday. I got to meet Terry Lewis (producer of Michael Jackson and Bobby Brown), George Clinton, Edgar Winter, Adrien Belew and many others. Coolest moment of the show for me was while Bernie Worrell was demonstrating a synth to a small crowd, up out of the audience stepped a man who extended his hand saying "Hi, I'm Herbie Hancock and I've always wanted to meet you!" Bernie was overjoyed, he slid over and the two of them played the same synth with four hands! And I had my little mp3 recorder running to capture the whole encounter!

Small consolation - I did get photos of the Breezin jam.

Second coolest moment of the show - standing 5 feet from George Benson jamming on "Breezin" ! But dang it, I thought my recorder was running but it wasn't. :<
