We always loved the Kinks, didn't we, mk, but I was unaware at the time that the Kinks were banned from the US from 1964 to 1968, the apex of the Golden Age of rock. Their manager quit in the middle of their first US tour in 1964. One of the Kinks got in a fist fight with a union dude at a gig and with no manger to smooth things over, they were not allowed back for FOUR years. A strange time, and a real bummer that it happened when The Kinks were set to explode on the scene with "You Really Got Me"...one of the most groundbreaking songs of the era. a disastrous tour for them--could have been career ending--thankfully it wasn't!

CPR (Crosby, Pevar and Raymond) Deja Vu on Dutch TV

This is a video filmed outside Amsterdam around 1998 on CPR's debut European tour in a beautiful mansion that was used for video production.
Steve Distanislao and Andrew Ford are on drums and bass.

Innovative duo Whitehorse (Luke Doucet and Melissa McClelland), give an intimate performance at an undisclosed hideaway in the woods in anticipation of their new album "The Fate of the World Depends on this Kiss". This is the song 'Devil's Got a Gun'.
