My latest foray into classic rock has brought me around this time to AC/DC's magnanimously energetic "Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap" and Pink Floyd's "Wish You Were Here" follow up "Animals".The former is absolutely exhilarating balls to the grindstone heavy metal hailstorm perfect for those who wish to unwind from the daily trails of life in a fury of "let it all hang out" philosophy.I like it.With "Animals",we once again journey down Pink Floyd's magical and mysterious path to other worldly writing concepts and production designs that always whisk me away to their very special corner of the dark side of the moon.I've also recently found one half of the double set "Ummagumma" at a thrift. So far,I've only heard a little of the live version of "Astronomy Domine" and it's already a mind blower. What can you tell me "Atom Heart Mother",the band's first UK number one?
