Does anyone here happen to have any original monophonic vinyl by The Dave Clark Five,Gerry and the Pacemakers,or Peter and Gordon.Personally,I at most times feel that most of THIS type of record making back in its times somehow seems to evoke a more sort of "natural" sound.More like the way God intended things.

I just bought a monophonic version of the Beach Boys' "All Summer Long".I also enjoy the alternate mono mixes on the deluxe "Pet Sounds" package. If no one else,Brian Wilson absolutely needed to take full advantages of the then recent updates in stereo hi-fi technology in order to even a prayer of fully expressing his then foray into far more esoteric territories, both musically and spiritually.

CREAM-"Fresh Cream" mono (like my vinyl, if you can find it0but the mono mix here is great too)

...is a must-have, as that first long player by Cream was a rather muddy sounding production; but MONO definitely is the best mix to enjoy that masterpiece of groundbreaking blues rock.

Mono mix-rare & not reissued

Low HQ d/l-still great (148MB)

I have Peter & Gordon mono....yeah...it sounds great!

I have several early Beatles mono on vinyl and we know those are the best! Also an early Stones ("Out Of Our Heads") mono...brilliant!!

A Yardbirds mono...the best! I forget what else.

So mono rules...YES!
