With the recent passing of Robin Gibb,I immediately began to ponder just how big brother Barry has dealt not only with HIS early demise, but the deaths of also Maurice in 2003 and youngest sibling Andy in 1988.My sympathies also massively go out to Brian Wilson, who similarly lost brothers Carl in 1998 and Dennis in 1983.Both of these major pop industry figures conducted relations with their brothers that ran much deeper than the normal perameters of family ties. They also created a great deal of wonderfully inspired musings and in turn reflected all this towards their fans in such eloquent, introsepctive terms that they have a much more than tenuous hold in their places in the annals of popular entertainment culture.Even the non-related Beatles came to understand inner group dynamics SO deep that they too also existed for several years almost like a band of brothers ala The Beach Boys and the Bee Gees.
