I've a friend who drives a truck for a living. When on the road he listens to one thing and one thing only, LIVE DEAD CDS, nothing else.
There're thousands of em! There was an underground radio station in Maine that played a different live DEAD recording every Thursday night for years....they never repeated ONE!
Bless the DEAD for encouraging live recording of all their concerts. They were the living embodiment of "free the music"!!
Another parking lot....1989...freak scene lives on http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3eiuquesXHE&feature=related
Here is a Grateful Dead listening trail....best live shows, if possible...
