Indeed!Essential qualaities such as "organic vibe" are hugely conspipcuous in their absences from most of today's bigger selling bands.Back in the times of Creedence,Black Sabbath, and obviously Led Zeppelin and the Who particularly with "Who's Next",many groups who were successful both commercially and artistically strived for expressive depth to the point of reaching sonically orgasmic heights.Nowadays, most of the top twenty suffers from extreme inspirational erectil dysfunction.Sometimes as though not even ONE of the members is playing with vary much real FEEL for what they have to say.A group of four or five of them adds NOTHING to the product.0x0 is STILL 0.That's econd grade math.

Early Creedence most certainly posseses a truly unique brand of interpreting hardball southern black blues and soul.An almost spine tingling sample of this is their riveting remake of Screamin' Jay Hawkins' "I Put A Spell On You".
