Ten Years is undoubtedly a classic rock radio staple.Rock/Blues just as essential as anything by Cream or Led Zeppelin.Their only dilemma was producing more songs with a bit more of an original spin like "I'd Love to Change the World".However, their searing takes on their chosen forum of conveyance DID generate ENOUGH interest to give them several fairly big chart albums.Their first release,1967's self titled offering, immediately pulled me into their lightening soul universe with a great passion for more.I also love their ballad "Over the Hill" from "Space in Time".

Several hot commodities of this sort on my "Yardbirds 1964-66" c.d.And of course we're all quite familiar with the Birds' most logical rock-blues extension project.Something about a really heavy balloon...?

Haven heard it for years....
Capatain Beefheart did some great blues coveres as welli allways thought his version of "the same old Blues again" was far superior to J.J. Cales.?
