Seriously talented dude. Harry Nilsson was called his "favorite American band" by John Lennon. Little did we know what infamous exploits would occur by the two after John Spilt from Yoko for a bit.

But back to the multi-instrumentalist, superb! vocalist, songwriting genius....
HARRY NILSSON...

Harry is also playing the drums on this barn burner...
JUMP INTO THE FIRE

Harry never could resist a little controversy and like Neil Young, thumbing his nose at his label and some fans....

You're Breaking My Heart (so F#@K you)

ANd then the ultimate beauty of song by Harry..
REMEMBER...RIP peace Harry...

I always thought that he led Peter Schilling to do this one about "spacemen" I think back in the 80's but it looks like it was Bowie's Major Tom...

Bowie & Elton John have said they had gotten their inspiration from Tom Rapp's original Rocket Man....

"Everybody's Talkin'"
" I guess the lord must be in new york city"
hell, he was special!
Paul McCartney had claimed him as his favorite singer.
