i,d forgot about Marmalade..my older sister had "Reflections of my life" single and i,d play it all the time. Obla-di obla-di as well ddn,t they cover that....seems they did a good few singles in the 60.s......but my poor memory can only remeber theese 2.
Anyone remember any others?

They were indeed an excellent band. My abiding memory of them was their appearance on BBC's Top of the Pops in I think, early'69. They were on to perform their follow up single to Obla Di Obla Da. This particular edition of the show was being presented by the now legendary Jimmy Saville who had previously predicted that their Beatles cover would flop - it did of course reach #1 in the UK. Speaking directly to camera and flanked by group members on either side, Mr Saville apologised for his poor judgement on the band. One of them then replied:

"Och, that's alreet Jem.....we bear yer na grudges". The same group member then pressed a custard pie into the DJ's face!
