wow - it kinda reminds me of that line from Tootsie:

"I saw your play ... what HAPPENED?!"

Bill Murrays best role

Yes the 4 hour one is the one to watch.

the film is the most tedious film I've ever seen. Its as bad as Tarantula, which I didn't think possible!

The 2dvd of R and C I have is from a UK tv broadcast. I can't imagine anyone watching it all in one go without falling to sleep or dropping dead.

Its up on Youtube, in 40 plus parts!

The soundtrack IS great - always nice to hear "People get ready" - you hear Dylan singing a little snippet

Its a fine film. Lately i watch it regularly.

P.S. I saw The Rolling Thunder Review Tour at the Boston Music Hall; super fine; McGuinn with all his long hair, Dylan and Joan singing "Deportees," Knockin on Heaven's Door; Ramblin' Jack Eliot, and on and on into blissful engrams.

It's all the same day.

I went to the 4 hr. screening at the Orson Wells Theater in Cambridge, Mass. I found the prepared scenes with Sara, Joan and the rest of the women kinda unconvincing pieces. What really stands out is a long shot of a train going across empty, winterized country and Dylan singing Hank Williams' Elija. I would like to see the entire film again.

It's all the same day.

I sat through it in a theater when it came out. Don't remember a damn thing except some of the performance clips. "Isis" killed! (Or was it just relief?)
Is it on DVD now? Is there a way to skip to the performances?

I like the live bits with the Byrds; always nice to hear Chestnut Mare
