Anyone see the much anticipated DOORS doc that appeared out of nowhere
last night on PBS?!! Everyone was waiting for a US theatre release and
it shows up on TV? Cool. We still need the uncensored version though!

Pretty good!

Jim Morrison was young and energenic, his leaping around on stage did look a tiny bit silly, I guess, somewhat graceless, ha, but there sure would be a hole in the music-time-continuum without him. He and Bryan had some great fun together. Deep character.

All misspellings are purposeful...

I saw some reviews. It was said Morrison was "silly". I guess looking back from all the years it may but I think we all knew the kind of conservative situation then going on in "entertainment"! A time was passing!

it makes me want to see the dvd when it comes out. Was Love ever mentioned in the doc? The closest in the Oliver Stone documentary was the scene outside the Whiskey when some girl says "Love" and Val Kilmer says: Arthur Lee, yeah he's cool!" I thought they could've done better than that!
