Sorting the stems and seeds...

I'm sure some remember that once Electric Ladyland hit the TT, the gatefold cover served
a much more important function than merely housing our favorite Hendrix LP.

First slap-on side A, and then...read this entertaining account for instructions if you
have forgotten how to use your gatefold...

Visit this site for a really fun read about a 70's guy that has fond memories too, of his gatefold
cover and those last holdouts of the 60's...vinyl record shops run by ol' hippies. Hope you're
lucky enough to have one near you, where you can still hear that "whop" of the LP covers
as you flip thru the record bins, the incense wafting thru the air.

Or maybe you still "remember" because you just pulled your gatefold Hendrix out for
some multitasking ... YESTERDAY!

I certainly had da music, and some damn good equipment. In 1969 I spent $500 on a KLH top of the line music system. Still have it and it has never faltered.

did the shoe-box and album. had good shoes and music, too!
prefered a metal strainer to separate all the the seeds and stems from residue and leaf bits.
"Dave's not here!"

...what the world needs now...

Whatever works!! But you still had music, I hope?!!
