I was shocked to hear the sad news about Mitch Mitchell. I knew he had just completed a short tour with the Experience Hendrix tribute and hoped that I would get a chance to see him perform some day.

The Jimi Hendrix Experience has been a huge part of my life.

Rest in peace, Mitch, and thank you for all the great music!

Unfortunately, time & "recreational" pursuits take their toll....RIP.

I love Mick Taylor.....how's he looking? It's a matter of genes and luck for some. Look at Clapton.
He looks a health nut that never did anything on the wild side. If affects us all differently.

I saw 'Experience Hendrix', the tribute concert to Jimi, last year. It was great. Mick Taylor was phenomenal. I thought Mitchell looked rather old and was shocked to read he was only 61.

G-d rest his soul. RIP.

Rest in peace, Mitch.

What a fine drummer. But talk about living your life right up to the end. Wow. Way to go Mitch, & God bless you!!

Thanks for the piece on Mitch, bob. Turn up the music.
