Posted - 20/04/2007 : 14:40:50 Hi,
I'm going to be in London next week (specifically the Soho area). Can anyone let me know if there are any good record stores which have good 60's/Psych music sections (eg: Love, The Byrds etc)?
Thanks, Chris

You're right, I had forgotten about them. There's also a couple of good record shops in Hanway Street, behind the Virgin megastore, details here:

Posted - 20/04/2007 : 15:35:29 Unfortunately Reckless on Berwick Street at 26 and 30, which had tons of second hand CDs and vinyl in all genres, went into liquidation at the end of last month. A new shop is due to open there on Monday, also second hand CDs so they may well have taken their stock.
Selectadisc 35-39 Berwick Street is worth checking out, they have a psych and garage section as well as some psych vinyl, Love and the Byrds might be in their main A-Z section though.
If you are after 60s vinyl check out Intoxica on Portobello Road: http://www.intoxica.co.uk/index.html
Of the megastores HMV on Oxford Street has the widest selection in my experience.
