Just found out that my home town's going to be one of the places where John's going to be playing Solid Air in its' entirety. The last time I saw him live about twenty years ago the gig was such a stinker that I decided that I wouldn't do so again, preferring superb live memories and records, but, since his Solid Air gig at the London Barbican was apparently absolutely supoerb... dammit, I give in. Damn it hes not playin near me but the real ****ty thing was that last yr he was playin in a pub in the town he lives in not far from me but i had exams it would have been nice cause its a small place&was realy cheap.i know ppl who have seen him recently &was kickin myself again for not goin cause they said he was fantastic. |
