I havent seen this yet, and I have a couple of questions:
1. Is Arthur Lee in it/mentioned?
2. Is it based on pretty much the true story or have they added much to make it better as a movie? |

arthur lee is mentioned once from what i remember..the doors are off to a club and jim asks who is on and some girl says "love" and he says something like "cool i dig arthur lee" anyone correct me if i'm wrong. its been some years since I watched it.
The film is pretty much..in jims words "a bunch of bull****" olly stone just wanted a cock rock film, nothing about jim as a poet, caring or normal human being (although i'm the first to admit, he was a bit of a tosspot sometimes). Just the sex, drugs and rock and roll, which makes a great film but albeit not a very factual one!
light up a fat one and i'm sure you will enjoy the show but for any anally retentive doors fan (and we all know they are out there)the fiction far outways the facts which can annoy people immensly.
