Has anyone heard this album ?

It is an amazing almost glam rock/soul/latin tinged masterpiece with non other than Rick James as the frontman. It was pressed and set for release in 1972 on Lion records back when James was dating Clive Davis' daughter. This album does exist on eBay, but it is extremely rare and was only pressed as a white label promo for anyone interested. There are a pair of copies on eBay still available.

The music is completely not what you would expect from Rick James, and not totally pure rock either. I understand that Rick pulled the plug on this group which was touring with B.B. King I believe at the time due to some creative differences with other guys in the band.

Amazing music, and I like it much better than Rick's solo stuff. I am a huge Rick James admirer too, so for me to say this is like blasphemy, but please if you can....check it out.

-Thomas

Also, as always I would love to know more if anyone does know anything about this record.
