The descriptions I've read of Bido Lito's make me wish I could have been there. Reminds me of a club that was part of my scene. Can anyone who was there discuss it a little? I've looked at satellite images of the block it's on, did you go in thru the front (Ivar) or back (Cosmo Alley)? Seems a little far from the Whiskey neighborhood. Did people walk that far? Are there any pictures of it in it's heyday? I've only seen maybe 2 later shots. Fanks!

I know it was a long time ago, but wow, I thought SOMEbody would have something to say. Seems like most accounts say this was "The Place" where Love hit their stride. Michael Stuart-Ware's book does have some good accounts, which I'd forgotten about. Also, Jac Holzman's book.
