Posted - 08/04/2006 : 03:58:13 welcome to the board! you experienced a special show! if some legal and official concert cds are released, like the Greatful Dead did, and i know there are a LOT of good dlt recordings , why not? we would buy them, and A. Lee and co. would be happy, too! i say, free the recordings , and i'm not a big fan of bootleg/ personal transactions. i'm just talking about the transactions: shipping, mailing, etc.) i think we are better than that , and deserve legit quality professional concert distribution: to buy the cds at our local music stores. maybe not all the mainstream big corporate ones, but a good many independent ones. keep the trading going. i know there is that split with B.L. and Lee, and it's a little complicated, but, the recordings remain, and are to be enjoyed and appreciated! |

Posted - 07/04/2006 : 11:35:44 Hi Bob I was there on that magic day. Between 8000-10000 in the green tent, thatīs the second largest. A summer day and Love with horns and strings....Me and my friends, who are all huge Love fans, cried and cried while smiling and singing and dancing, during the magic hour. That sums it up! Arthur Lee had so many guts and and a raw power, so for me the festival was over when he finished. He played Saturday from 16.00 to 17.00. The band went into a really psychedelic version of Revelation. Wow, what a day.... |
