Posted - 13/09/2004 : 23:34:19 Wow that's a very touching e-mail. I've been keeping fairly during these troubled times (not wishing to say anything innapropriate). However, I think it needs to be said...in terms of all the various Love bands (since 1967 anyway) then Mike, Rusty, Chapple and Daddyo are definitely the "greatest Love of all! Love to all, John E |

Posted - 13/09/2004 : 21:28:11 Yes, Mike's diary seems to strongly suggest that all things must pass and just maybe they are having are hard time with new music. I for one am grateful for this second chance to hear and see Love and appreciate all their efforts. And so I will look at this US tour as possibly the last.

I think we are all with you there BRG. If Baby Lemonade do move on it will be no ones but Arthurs fault, and I cant see many other decent musicians lining up to take their place either.
Much agreed Larry & BRG. What a shame if the new Love does break-up. There is a lot more they can do. I posted a non-FC concert possibility + how about an Acoustic Arthur Lee concert? The time is now for Arthur. There are so many possiblities. Like Arthur sang "Time is like a river,it keeps on rolling". Let's hope Arthur doesn't waste this opportunity.

Posted - 13/09/2004 : 18:59:12 My gut feeling is that Mike may be hinting that this tour may be the last one (expressed elsewhere on this board too). I personally think people should try to see as many shows as is possible for that reason on this upcoming US tour.
In terms of why Arthur has been abusive etc. my thinking is that when he got out of jail he was absolutely grateful for his freedom and for having a second chance in society. That gratitude brought out the good/genius in him at least musically.
Perhaps with a few years of freedom and having a demanding schedule (something he never truly had since Love was always loathe to tour), he may be getting tired/irritated by the work's demands and also be taking his freedom and band mates for granted. IF Baby Lemonade moved on it would be a sad day for so many reasons. The ball is in Arthur's court. Let's pray he gets his stuff together and treats his mates with the proper respect.
