Heard another cover I had not come across last night. Calexico doing Alone Again Or live at the Austin City Limits festival last year from a Rhino release. Great version, slightly looser and more Latin influenced than their studio one.
Tracked down the album at the Rhino site and found that it is on streaming video

I heard this track on the Captain America show, if anyone remembers the programme from Virgin it returned three weeks ago on The Arrow, Sundays 7 p.m to 9 p.m., DAB in many parts of the UK, Sky 911, NTL 874, www.thearrow.co.uk/listenlive.asp.
