Posted - 10/09/2004 : 03:23:02 i have just been reading the spainish gig threads ( still have not watched the footage ) so i am still a bit unsure what the deal is ( cant find the link to the footage ) but i am intriqued I mean jesus how many shows has this guy done and how many of us have seen a bad one? i thought with the amount of dates on the last uk tour that half the shows i went to would be under par but it was incredible each one was nothing short of brilliance!!! its amazing Arthur hasnt got rat arsed and done a **** one several times already! I have often thought how impressive it is that Arthur and the boys can do show night after night and still knock the socks off any band out there!! 1 poor show in 3 years is a pretty damn good record!!! wish I was there! did anyone see Kraftwerk? would love to hear about there set. |

Posted - 12/09/2004 : 02:40:16 the only show that really disappointed me was at Royce Hall, L.A. STILL , that show was great , why? because it was Arthur LEE!!! especially , Arthur's "Signed D.C" harp solo!!! i, just know what he is capable of! no complaint here, only critical observation of a long time fan, and true believer and lover of LOVE! I am thrilled to have a ticket to the Love concert at Wilsher-Ebell , Los Angeles, 9-29! with some Zombies! i cant wait!!! |

Posted - 10/09/2004 : 22:18:28 Josiah-this subject has caused a great deal of posts and much concern. We all hope and care for Arthur's well-being. I'll also be at Town Hall with Larry, and this will be my first time seeing Arthur/LOVE. Fingers crossed and looking for a smashing evening.
AH...I got my Red Star -look out Caryne |

Posted - 10/09/2004 : 21:54:08 Hi Joss, great to have you back - the power of email eh!! Hope you're well and truly better now and hopefully see you at some gigs before too long.
P.S. Did you have mumps - my son (aged 19) has had it recently and was really quite ill. |

Posted - 10/09/2004 : 11:26:29 Welcome back Joss - hope all is well with you and we'll see you back at Sunday and Wednesday chat as well. Yes we were all pretty shocked at the Spanish performance - it was not a petty sight.

Posted - 10/09/2004 : 09:52:33 Nice to see you back Josiah its been a while, heard you were ill.I agree with Caryne, I think all of us are hoping this was a one off blip, I certainly am, I have tickets for the NY Town Hall gig.I'm really hoping for a hot one because the prospect of sitting through the Zombies whilst they pump out Argent numbers is totally unappealing to me lol. |

Posted - 10/09/2004 : 03:47:47 ****s sake! i assumed he was just being arsy and rude you know, abusing people ( i love it! ) but man ( Caryne i take back what i said about wishing I had seen it!) that was painful. y the hell did they not just turn his mic off and Mike and rusty's up???or the orchestra could have covered the lack of vocals and it could have been a blissful instrumental set!!! so was Arthur mates with Rick? did he just find out b4 the show? admittedly when we heard about Rick we had a sesh but Arthur was totally gone! i really feel for the band and orchestra, but i stand by what i said before it is still just one show in 3 years of tours!all this begining of the end stuff is just bollocks! and i am sure that Love will bless us with another album and a whole new Love era will begin! hears looking forward to the Love train picking up speed next year!!! c u there! love J |
