I've just come across this intriguing release:

Of Britain, Europe....and the World

I had the original red label vinyl (in the late 80s? 90s?)
but the cd has always sounded fine to me - even a tape of it on high quality cassette!

ah, to be without a cd player in the late 80s.. its almost comical now. Everything has a cd player in it now, even digital watches!

(Douglas Adams would be spinning in his grave)

I don't agree with Johnny. The Rhino release has so much better sound, even better than the original release which sounds a bit flat to me.Rhino nailed it.For me it was a revelation when I first heard it.

It's nice to have this show on LP, since I only play records these days.
The sound is ok, not better then on the cd or dvd, but it brings back enough good memories for me of how the shows were.

There are likely a lot of fans who don't own the vinyl and this would be a nice item to own.

Not for me or many here...the first pressing Elektra vinyl, many of us have already, but that is not a possibility for many and besides is getting to be a really expensive piece---NM $75-100

I know what you mean, Dyecraig - but I just wanted to let people know about it. This release is surely a testimony as to the classic and enduring status of the album - and of course Love have always been one of those special bands who seem to spark magic within each new generation.

and I really need one more pressing/edition/format of FC because?
sorry, it just seems ENDLESS!
guess I'll just stick with my beat-up yard sale 2 dollar special (which sounds great).
