No Matter What You Do
Laughing Stock

Always See Your Face
Dream

they did always see your face at some of the FC shows with the strings and horns guy on trumpet. real tears in my eyes.

i went back and played the album - no horns on that but the song was made for it

liz

Keep on shining

If I'm not mistaken, they actually played Your Mind and We Belong Together at wednesday's SF show, with Rusty mostly singing lead. First time I've heard it live...too bad we didn't have prime Arthur. Has anyone ever seen them do Always See Your Face, one of the most profoundly underrated songs of all-time? (At least it was on the High Fidelity soundtrack..)

Michael Young

Yes, I am sure they did it last Summer in the UK....I seem to recall hearing it at the Gloucester gig and maybe another?

I read that book a few years back...good isn't it?
And 'Stagger Lee', in all its many versions, is a bloody good song, despite the obvious 'joke' suggestion here

And then there's cover versions...how about Johnny B. Goode?

If I was in a black humoured mood I'd suggest Stagger Lee, but, since I'm not, I won't.

Stagger Lee, now that's funny

Hey guys, both August and Robert Montgomery have been performed by Love in the UK in the last couple of years - my memory is a bit hazy but August has been done fairly recently, although its while since I've heard Robert Montgomery.
