This would've be an interesting pairing. If you had the Forever Changes line-up and the Chicago(the classic 7 original members) together on the same stage or even did an album together.

If you combine the horns and string players of Chicago, plus the two drummers(Michael Sturat and Danny Serphine) and guitarist like Terry Kath, Peter Cetara, Johnny Echols, Bryan Maclean, Ken Forsi. Lead vocals might've been shared between Terry, Robert Lamm, Arthur Lee, Bryan, and Peter Cetera.

If Love stayed around and maybe went from Elektra to Columbia let's say around 1968 and were given for about 5 years and good contract terms that would've been great. They probably would've worked with BST and Chicago. It would've been interesting to see a psychedelic-jazz rock influence from both bands.
