excellent interview in the new issue (LONG interview covering all facets of Love on Elektra

interesting that Red Light Green Light was cut for the first album but left "in the can". Perhaps they never finished it? And yet they cut a couple of songs that sounded EXACTLY the same on that interview !! (My Flash On You, Hey Joe)

Go figure

the Grass Roots also seem to have cut the odd song that never proved to be recorded (the Grass Roots version saw release on vinyl some years back)

Perhaps a live tape of the early groups will surface, or Love doing "Revelation" early on when it was actually good!

Well worth reading. Good to hear "Red light green light" touched on, though its not clear whether that song was an original, or what? Andrew Sandroval mentioned it in an interview concerning the Love Story compiling process in Castle 13 (page 1) - seems to have been listed on one of the tape boxes

Whether Elektra kept the 1st album masters of course..
