Did Arthur write some of the songs that would be on Four Sail and Out There between April and July 68? |

I think that Four Sail was a cracking album....one of Love's best. Out Here would probably have matched it for consistency had it been a single disc. But even on that one there are some of Arthur's finest compositions....and of course there is that beautiful painting that was chosen for its cover. False Start was certainly disappointing.... Arthur's talent for strong melodies and thought provoking lyrics seemed to have deserted him by that stage...and he was barely 25. David Angel was right when in Love Story he said that some people are destined to do a particular thing at a particular time. |

Four Sail was passable. Everything subsequent to that was pretty awful until, of course, the truly excellent 2003 Forever Changes Concert album and its subsequent spin-offs.
