Rhino Handmade is great - I think their first release was the Wild Man Fischer release (the Fischer King) which is truly appalling, and sadly doesn't have the Evening with Wild Man Fischer material that Zappa worked on in the late 60s
But I'm not sure theres enough material by Love to justify an early years release for the band (Love, originally Grass Roots)
I'm not even sure if the LAGs material is out on cd - but as interesting as it would be to have MY DIARY out on cd (Arthurs first composition, and it has Hendrix playing the intro)
But is there really much out there? The Last Wall of the Castle has backing tracks for tracks from the 1st album and da capo, but there would have to be more than that to justify a Rhino Handmade release
unless the live recording of Love at the Whisky turns up (in which case Rhino Handmade can release a live set rather like the Monkees live set, that followed up the Headquarters Sessions) I just don't see it happening
One would have to be mad to sit through a 2CD release like the Fischer King though - yikes!
