Mission to bring the music of Love to a wider audience. You have one opportunity to take a televised audition for the X Factor. Which Love song do you choose?
or Which Love song would you have all the finalists sing together?

Posted - 03/10/2010 : 04:42:44 certainly Holzman held the song in high enough in esteem to have it starting Forever Changes
indeed he talks about that a LOT in Love Story, how crucial that song is to the albums progression - how its like a DOOR to the album
not the Doors, a Door! (no relation) |

easy..spin out Alone Again Or..I'd just think it's such a unique beautiful melody. Not sure what everybody else thought when they first heard it but when I initially heard it I thought it was soooooo different and it raised my personal interest in the band. I wasn't that much aware of the band at the time if I recall.
And then I'd suggest Between Clark and Hilldale and My Little Red Book... |

Everybody was having a laugh, at the expense of old "Hyperbole" Jac Holtzman. Great song! Live and Let Live, or a House Is Not a Motel would be my next choice.

What I meant was is there a single song that encapsulates/showcases Love. I suspect not, just because of the range.
but what about one that would encourage People to hear more Love?
Hallelujah certainly boosted UK awareness of Leonard Cohen and Jeff Buckley.

KD: Between Clark & Hilldale !

Posted - 01/10/2010 : 15:57:31 I Still Wonder - it would have made a great single, having such a powerful melody. |

Posted - 01/10/2010 : 15:22:52 Mushroom Clouds is considerably longer in mono
Love albums goes for a LOT in mono. If you have Forever Changes in mono you should get $100 for it, easy
Its not particularly different to the mix we know and love though! (which Bryan considered "prosaic"! |
