There was a cd released a few years back that had several
relatively unknown songs by Love...Some of them were Soul Food,
Stay Away, The Ninth Wave, Rumble Still Skins, and a few other
titles I can't recall.

These songs were originally released by the American Four, and
Arthur Lee and the LA Group, some of them were on the Capital
label, others on Selma, but I can't seem to find them under any
name.

Would anyone Know where I might find these cd's

Or Kramer salvaging Merv Griffin's stage set on a Seinfeld episode.

...what the world needs now...

You think thats odd, Syd Barretts Brother Printer sold 2 months ago for a grand

Kinda reminds me of the old Monty Python episode where they're carting around David Niven's fridge!

Hah!

I hear that. I saw another one sell for like $140 bucks or so a couple of months ago. Guys like that always kill me.

I think it was reprinted in Castle 13 (thats the issue that has all the Love guitar tab) and the poor sods trying to sell it for $999

$8 for priority post is far too much though I'd probably offer
FREE shipping myself!

Lot of interesting Love turns up on eBay

Some poor soul has been trying to sell the sheet music for Seven and Seven Is for going on years now!

It really wouldn't surprise me to come across a live tape of the band at the Whisky from the 60s, to be perfectly honest. I mean, Shel Talmy sold the masters for The WHo Sings My Generation on the site!

There was a 45 issued by Munster records if I'm not mistaken. I have one of them. It has "Luci Baines" as well as "It's the Marlin Baby" and maybe some other songs as well.

But there was also "Black Beauty and Rarities" which is a bootleg that has the Black Beauty songs in addition to some of Arthur and company's earlier work. Very interesting stuff. There used to be quite a bit of it on eBay.

You seem to be talking about the 'Black Beauty'CD, listed under the 'Bootlegs' section on the discography of this very site.

It is a bootleg and, despite various rumours over the years, has never been officially released. Copies do surface now and again and I am sure you will be able to find one fairly easily.
