Posted - 02/05/2008 : 22:10:53 Two weeks ago I posted a link to this fascinating series - on that day, we had fragments of the news reports from April 18, 1968 presented to the closing bars of 'The Red Telepone'. On May 2 there were disturbances at Columbia University and (as had become usual) at the Sorbonne. To introduce these memories the BBC today played the guitar intro from 'You Set The Scene'. You can find it easily by going to www.bbc.co.uk
Postscript - coincidentally, it looks this evening as though Ken Livingstone, England's most famous fan of Love's most famous album, has lost the electoral battle to remain as Mayor of London....Forever Changes indeed! |

It appears that they are going to play 'A House is not a Motel' tomorrow: http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/1968/week7/?may#2
Or perhaps an unreleased track as it is listed as A House is Not a Hotel
Just looked at the track listings for this week and next, whoever is doing the music for this series has very good taste.
