Finally, finally got it the other day (already had everything except the live cd.) Surprisingly he doesn't sound too different from his more recent recordings. His range is greater, and he obviously sounds young and raw and edgy...and high. (But on a good day in, say, 2002, he could sound very similar.) I especially dig his soulful versions of Gather Round and Bummer In the Summer.
