Posted - 14/10/2004 : 12:09:43 I said in another thread that I had a couple of Arthur Lee articles in early seventies Zigzag magazines. There turned out to be rather more than I thought. I've scanned them all and posted them at:

Posted - 25/10/2004 : 05:29:07 Does anybody know the song that Arthur did for the movie "Thormasine and Bushrod" (sic) that is mentioned in one of the articles here? I'm not sure that I know which song that is... |

Posted - 18/10/2004 : 18:41:46 I picked up Zig Zag 7 for £7 when Helter Skelter was closing, but unfortunately haven't got a scanner. Sooner or later, I may be able to copy it though. Love, John E |

Posted - 18/10/2004 : 15:17:25 Mike,
Dunno if you got my email as there's some suggestion the email thing off the board doesn't work. I'm happy either way about who who puts the article online. I haven't got Zigzag 7 which also has a Love article in it.
My email is ben.h@nospambirthdaybiff.co.uk (remove the nospam) |

Posted - 17/10/2004 : 22:58:30 i used to have the arthur and dog photos from Zigzag on my bedroom wall, so I must have had the snoopy article. I subscribed to zigzag then lost a lot of copies in a flood when we lived near london.
nice to remember the photos, and zigzag

Posted - 15/10/2004 : 22:05:45 I've got the Snoopy special, and an A2 poster that came with it, with two pix of arthur, one with a beautiful dog - a saluki maybe, and one squatting, stars and stripes featuring prominently. If no one gets there first I'll scan them and Ben (or Torvald) can bung them online. Ben - have you got the earlier Zigzags? If not I'll check for other Love stuff. Take care you all Mike |

Posted - 15/10/2004 : 14:21:30 I've found the copy (20) with an article on Snoopy in it which I'll scan next week. The next issue refers to the special interview which was available for 25p. Since this was 10p more than the mag cost at the time it must be a hell of a long piece of work. |

Posted - 15/10/2004 : 10:25:53 That's cool. But does anybody have the special Zig Zag Snoopy interview? They viewed it as too dangerous to publish in the magazine but printed it up and and made it available to readers. I remember when this happened but was too lazy to send for it & I've never seen it. If somebody could post that, that would be very cool.
